Amanda Lee is a Medical Radiation Technologist at the Ottawa Hospital. You will find her attending Breast Cancer Action events throughout the year, as their ambassador. She has carried her message of hope for those afflicted with this debilitating disease through healthcare professional conferences and fundraising efforts.
Amanda and her husband Frank met at work in the radiology department. Frank Lee is a Radiologist, specializing in body imaging, and spends the majority of his time in breast imaging. Together, they have fundraised for Breast Cancer Action and have made it their mission to ensure that Breast Cancer Action’s programs are available for years to come.
Frank and Amanda welcomed their son Tommy into the world on April 30th, 2009 and he has been the center of their universe ever since.
Amanda has been competing in pageants since she was a child. Her feeling is, while it is fun and exhilarating to glide across a stage in an evening gown, it is the crown that will make people stop and hear what she has to say.
